Kinetic Affect is a dynamic spoken word duo based in Kalamazoo composed of two very different men; Kirk Latimer, a survivor of his own destructive past, and Gabriel Giron, a survivor of cancer, combine their voices to give life to their difficult past experiences.
Kalamazoo improvisers and business owners Dann Sytsma and Brian Lam have teamed up to create Improv Effects, LLC, a team building and professional development workshop facilitation business.
Sytsma is the co-founder of the Kalamazoo-based improv troupe Crawlspace Eviction, and owns Crawlspace Theatre Productions. Lam is the owner of Lam Creative Solutions – a PR and marketing firm – and an active member of the Crawlspace Eviction troupe.
Wellspring/Cori Terry and Dancers is a premiere professional modern dance company, also running a Dance Academy and literacy outreach. Now in its 34th season, Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers also presents the annual Midwest Regional Alternative Dance Festival (midwestRADfest), highlighting emerging and established contemporary dance artsits from throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Joe is co-founded Sportech Labs, which was started to provide high quality software to athletic organizations. The first product was TrakGear, an inventory management system for athletic equipment. After growing the product to serve some of the largest colleges in country, Sportech Labs was acquired by 8to18 Media, Inc. in early 2014. Joe currently works for Doximity as a DevOps Engineer.
Daniel is on a mission to measure and improve happiness at work. He is also a startup advisor, habit coach, workshop leader, and adventurer. Last year he stepped down as CEO of the company he founded in 2005, Newmind Group, Inc.
Kori Jock wants to make sure your undies fit well and that you feel fabulous from the moment you put them on. Inspired by a family legacy of sewing undies, she launched La Vie en Orange and began repurposing tshirts into undies. Studying fashion at Western Michigan University, she spent 8 years doing non-profit social justice work in Seattle and Kalamazoo, MI before starting a party in everyone’s pants.
